Description Colin Macdonald 2006-07-15 17:30:38 UTC
Please describe the problem:
During a presentation, evince should not flash "loading..." between slides.

It seems to render the next few slides into memory so the "loading..." doesn't appear, but if ones moves quickly between slides (for example, when someone asks a question at the end of a presentation and I go skipping to find a particular slide) it still happens. It think it should not show "loading..."

Steps to reproduce:
1. open a pdf presenation
2. press f5
3. move clickly between slides

Actual results:
"loading..." flashes on the screen in huge letters.

Expected results:
During a presentation, the flashing text looks distracting.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, if one moves quickly between slides: may more obvious on a slower computer.

Interesting point, partially agree, we need to consider it probably.

And it was even discussed previously
