Description Malte 2006-07-12 16:30:45 UTC
When plugging in a USB flash drive, which is correctly recognized by Nautilus, moving files from the drive to trash works differently from what I expect. A directory called .Trash-$USERNAME is created on the flash drive. Though its contents are accessible from Places -> Trash, the user is not informed about the creation of the hidden directory.

The problem about this is the following: If you want to remove some files from the drive in order to get some free space, you do not get any, because the files were merely moved into the drive's trash directory. I expected them to be moved into ~/.Trash.
