It's seems not related to bug #347258. I use now the fixed wavparse gstreamer filter and still no sound for iagno, gnibbles and gnobots (gnometris sounds work).
Comment 3 Sylvain BERTRAND 2006-10-02 20:20:46 UTC
Same thing in gnome 2.16.

Reporter, I need information about your system configuration. Please provide us with a list of modules in your kernel, for example.
Comment 7 Sylvain BERTRAND 2006-10-30 00:11:44 UTC
It seems that I have troubles getting sound from gnome events (gnome_triggers_do function call). It's strange because gossip is using the same function to play sounds and it does work.

I want to help you but I need more information.
Comment 9 Sylvain BERTRAND 2006-10-30 12:34:32 UTC
What do you need exactly?
Actually, my bug can be generalized to gnome games using the gnome sound event system (gnome_triggers_do function). I don't know if it's specific to my system or not: Does anybody have sound in gnobots, gnibbles and iagno with gnome games 2.14 and/or 2.16?
If it's specific to my system, all you can do is to give me hints in order to locate the issue in my gnome stack.
