Description Remy Suen 2006-07-11 21:52:19 UTC
Now that the GObject-related classes has been moved to glib-java, libgconf-java no longer needs to depend on libgtk-java.

I expect the migration to require the following:
-changing all C files to point to glib_java.h instead of gtk_java.h
-update the autotools to just look for glib-java
-cvs branch
-writing a new example that is CLI-based and killing the original (the current one uses gtk, which means we need unnecessarily to dep' on it)

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes for the version that you use.

By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME.
Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
