Please describe the problem:
when i open a log file and try to copy and paste from there it pastes different content from that i have copied.
It seems that copies one or two lines above my target line...

Also i have to go to menu in order to use copy command, no right click is working

Steps to reproduce:
1. open gnome-system-log
2. try to copy and paste lines from there
3. 


Actual results:
different line is copied instead the one a user highlight

Expected results:


Does this happen every time?

Are you using the filter when doing this? Please see bug 343215.

no filter used in my case. Now you mention about filter, i have test it using a filter and the results where even more obscured...
