GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 346509
general ledger showing empty txns
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:08:58 UTC
You can see that after entering various txn from a register, the general ledger window show many void txns, apparently the same number of void tnx and with the same dates as the tnx you entered. For example: -gnucash --nofile -file -> new -> new account page -generate new accounts a and b -in the register of account a enter a txn with b -tools -> general ledgers shows a void txn If you enter more txns you'll have more void txn in general ledger. That's confusing for the user. Besides that, if you try to delete them you can't. If you save and exit gnucash, next time you open that file the void txns have disappeared.
I see empty transactions, not voided transactions. Interestingly enough, this doesn't seem to happen to every transaction. I still see these voided transactions after saving and reopening the file, but again, it doesn't happen for every transaction.
Please consider bug 346159 too.
Still present in version 2.2.4
