GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 346288
rhythmbox doesn't start when writing DVDs at the same time
Last modified: 2006-07-02 11:24:55 UTC
Please describe the problem: I was happily listening to some ogg files while making my backups and when I proceded to burn the backup to DVD using nautilus, rhythmbox hung (if I remember correctly). In any case, I killed rhythmbox, and tried restarting it. This, however, failed. Steps to reproduce: guessing: 1. quit rhythmbox 2. start writing a DVD with nautilus 3. try starting rhythmbox while it is writing the dvd Actual results: rhythmbox hangs for a while, then flashes and quits Expected results: starts up nicely and plays music, just can't access CDs Does this happen every time? I only tried once, didn't feel like creating a bunch of coasters :) Other information: I straced it but nothing useful came out...
I can duplicate this bug.
This is the same as bug 337677. Unfortunately no-one has been able to provide a backtrace of Rhythmbox while it is hung, and I can't reproduce it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 337677 ***
