Description Hidde Brugmans 2006-06-29 14:41:43 UTC
In a situation where the user has a lot of cd's by "various artists" the option is currently to have hundreds of artists with a few songs, or have all those songs wrongly tagged with "various artist" in the artist field.

I'd like a way to hide those artists from the browser to avoid cluttering the list.

This could be acomplished by a plugin that applies the same selectors on the browser as the auto-playlist selector, with a manual option to hide/unhide the artists.

Perhaps all these minor artists could be listed under misc. artists so that various artists remains available for badly tagged files.
