In all previous versions of Pan, I could click then drag the mouse cursor down to scroll and select multiple items in the headers pane. Losing that capability makes sorting through the headers a much slower and more cumbersome task.

Hopefully, this feature just hasn't been recoded in the rewrite, and it's not gone for good.
