Description Scott Severance 2006-06-26 06:45:30 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Right-click on the file available from http://www.scottseverance.us/files/Rosamunde__Overture.mp3 (a malformed MP3 file) and choose properties
2. Nautilus crashes. If the file is located on the desktop, the icons may also temporarily disappear

Stack trace:
I wasn't able to obtain a stack trace. gdb said that nautilus exited normally. thread apply all bt produced nothing.

Other information:
I discovered this bug while verifying information for http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345930, in which this particular MP3 file also plays a role.

Hello Scott,

I'm closing this bug because this and bug 345930 are the same crash. Nautilus' audio property is an extension added by totem, which can use the GStreamer backend (in your case it does).
