Description William 2006-06-25 14:28:27 UTC
Are there plans in the works for a plugin that embeds evince in firefox/epiphany/seamonkey etc...? This would be a very nice feature. I love the speed of evince and keep getting frustrated when I am trying to quickly view a pdf in a browser and it makes me download it and then open it. Also such a feature should have the ability to detach evince from the browser tab.

Thanks for this report, we already considering this subject, although probably we don't want to fix this, partially because evince can work with mozplugger and partially because that breaks document object model.
