Description Brian Geppert 2006-06-24 00:06:25 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I'm on Ubuntu Dapper, and when I plug in my Plantronics USB headset after logging into GNOME, the applet does not update to show my headset.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot, log into GNOME.
2. Plug in USB headset.
3. Right-click on volume applet, select "Preferences".
4. Check combobox for option corresponding to hotplugged headset.

Actual results:
The combobox does not show my headset (though my headset shows up in "Volume Control"). Restarting the applet corrects this.

Expected results:
I would like to have the option to select my headset when I plug it in.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
