GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 345536
The option to print two pages per paper sheet does not work
Last modified: 2008-01-29 15:37:25 UTC
Please describe the problem: Print a pdf document in the print dialog select Paper options or what's called, In the "Disposition" or what's called dropdown menu select "Two pages in one sheet". In the mini-preview on the right the correct result appears but when you actually print, it prints one page per sheet (ubuntu 5.10) Steps to reproduce: 1. print dialog 2. select two pages per sheet in paper options tab 3. print it Actual results: it prints one page per sheet Expected results: should print two pages per sheet Does this happen every time? it does happen everytime Other information: in kpdf the option functions correctly but it's fonts are too ugly to be usable
Actually this bug very probably belongs to gnome-print since this feature doesn't work in abiword (for example) either
This also happens with me, but I use Ubuntu 6.10, and the package in question is libgnomeprint2.2-0 . Maybe this comment should be disregarded, because I use a more recent version of the software then the submitter. Anyway, just in case it could be useful, I've also submitted a bug about this problem with Ubuntu at https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gnome-print/+bug/70988
