Description Jimmy Angelakos 2006-06-21 10:32:20 UTC
When Renaming a file in Nautilus, Shift+Delete should Cut the selected text. Instead it tries to Delete the file being renamed at the time.

This is quite serious, it can lead to losing files without noticing if delete confirmation is disabled. I for one know I've done it lots of times because I expect Shift+Delete to cut text.

This bug has not been resolved, and certainly is not a duplicate of 314431, why did you mark it as such?

Sorry, I got it.

The text box doesn't get keyboard focus, the whole window does.

My apologies.

Jimmy: Because it can also be resolved by considering focus widget-specific keybindings before GtkAction keybindings.
