Description bugreports 2006-06-12 09:23:59 UTC
When I change the screen resolution from say 1280x854 to 1280x1024 and gnome panel was started/running before, I get random garbage beeing displayed as the panel background.

Steps to reproduce:

1. start gnome panel on a low resolution screen (one at the top, one at the bottom)
2. make them both transparent
3. increase screen resolution

=> now the lower panel will display garbage as the background.

restarting the panel (killall gnome-panel) fixes this.

Similar to bug 338537 and bug 343506.
Comment 2 Vincent Untz 2007-02-18 01:33:12 UTC
Probably fixed at the same time than bug 353781.
Comment 3 bugreports 2007-02-18 07:23:40 UTC
it is exactly bug #353781 - so you are right.

wonder how/why I filed it twice.
