1.  Open application
2.  hit quick start

normal quick start behavior. it has never worked, so I didn't know what
to expect.

the bug was triggered with the quick start icon, not sure if that would make a difference.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into
our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you
find.

Matches the stack trace in bug 343820, which has been marked as a duplicate of
324836.

Also, relevant comment from a bluefish maintainer for Ubuntu users:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/bluefish/+bug/40289. Please
contact your MOTUs to get this bug finally fixed in Ubuntu (it's just bug in
debian/rules) or ask them to rebuild the current Debian package for Ubuntu.
