Description bill.haneman 2006-06-09 16:58:59 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #326538 +++

Add Accessibility::Terminal  per http://gnome.org/%7Ebillh/at-spi-new-idl/html/html/

area: atk api

Need to define resources to do patches. Maybe same
person can implement both ATK interface and VTE.

Target Gnome 2.16 by end of July 2006.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2012-02-26 10:43:58 UTC
[Resetting QA Contact to newly introduced "at-spi-maint@gnome.bugs".
Reason: So far it was impossible to watch changes in at-spi bug reports without following all the specific persons (Li Yuan, Bill Haneman, Jeff Wai, ...) and also their activity outside of at-spi reports.

IMPORTANT: Anyone interested in following all bug activity (including all maintainers) must watch the "at-spi-maint@gnome.bugs" dummy user by adding it to the 'Users to watch' list under Preferences->Email preferences. This is also the default procedure nowadays in GNOME when setting up new products.]

[Mass-resetting default assignee, see bug 705890. Please reclaim this bug report by setting the assignee to yourself if you still plan to work on this. Thanks!]
Comment 3 Magdalen Berns (irc magpie) 2014-11-13 17:25:29 UTC
I'm going to go ahead and close this because it concerns a very old version.
Feel free to open a new bug if the problem persists.
Comment 4 Alejandro Piñeiro Iglesias (IRC: infapi00) 2014-11-14 11:27:16 UTC
Reopening: although not a top priority (so the reason is being so old), is still a interface that we would like to implement, or at leas discuss how to provide such functionality.
Comment 5 Magdalen Berns (irc magpie) 2014-11-14 15:52:42 UTC
Ok thanks for the update.
Comment 6 André Klapper 2018-09-05 07:22:46 UTC
Is this ticket about at-spi2-core or about at-spi2-atk?
Asking as this is currently under "api" which will get removed.
Comment 7 Samuel Thibault 2018-09-05 07:29:25 UTC
It is actually about both: the detailed at-spi2-core interface has not been defined, and thus the at-spi2-atk implement hasn't either.
Comment 8 André Klapper 2018-09-05 08:12:27 UTC
Thanks. In that case this needs two separate tickets I'm afraid, because Gitlab (the successor of Bugzilla) requires a 1:1 mapping between a task's project and a code repository (as at-spi2-core and at-spi2-atk are separate repositories).
Comment 9 André Klapper 2019-02-22 14:17:18 UTC
Making this a at-spi2-core ticket as per Samuel's comment what needs to happen first.
Comment 10 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 10:44:58 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/at-spi2-core/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
