GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 344276
Bug in memo preview with special char.
Last modified: 2013-09-10 14:04:39 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The memo preview doesn't work perfectly wtih special char.
Steps to reproduce:
1. create new memo
2. write this string : %.u
3. go to memo preview, evolution show this string : 77125314
4. same bug with this string : "%.u"
Does this happen every time?
I use fedora core 5, gnome 2.14-1 and evolution 2.6.1.
Thanks for the bug report, but a backtrace is missing, please add this with your report.
sebastien: i cannot reproduce this with evolution 184.108.40.206 here. which locale do you use (= if you enter "locale" in a terminal window, what is the output?)
how exactly do you enter that value? do you use the new button or the menu option?
damien: no, this is not a crasher, so we do not need a stacktrace at all - one can try to reproduce this. beside the fact that it has nothing to do with this bug, your comment could be more useful - please provide at least information on *how* to provide a backtrace. for future reference, feel free to use the stock answer items below the text field for unconfirmed bugs, you find them directly below the text input field where you add your comment.
@Damien durand : is not a crash repport.
@Andre Klapper :
[pti-seb@xblade ~]$ locale
And I use the new button.
I add two screenshot, to show this bug :
