GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 343871
Resource Usage doesn't line up
Last modified: 2006-06-05 16:11:46 UTC
Please describe the problem: In the "Resource Usage" view, the bars for each task and resource don't appear to have the same height as the details of the task. This means that on a longer list (say around 30 items) the resource usage is shorter than the list of tasks. So, if you're looking down the list and you spot something you want to investigate, it can be quite difficult track down which task the bar referrs to. I'm not sure how much sense this description makes, so let me explain it another way. When you bring up the "Resource Usage" view with a list of items display and you take a physical ruler (a slide rule) and lay it on your screen, you can see as you go down the list, that the pixel height of the task bars (shown on the right hand side) is smaller than the pixel height of each task item on the left hand list side of the view. Steps to reproduce: The problem is standard on my distribution: Fedora Core 5, kernel 2.6.16-1.2122_FC5 Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? The problem is consistent on every usage after restarting / logging in/out, etc. Other information: I've put together a screen shot which hopefully shows the problem visually: http://www.callum-macdonald.com/download/planner-bug.png
Created attachment 66761 [details] Screenshot shows the problem visually I didn't realise this feature was available when I submitted my bug so I put a link in the original bug.
