Description Joe Barnett 2006-06-01 17:50:58 UTC
Please describe the problem:
(originally reported to: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution-exchange/+bug/23431 with evolution 2.4.1, but I'm still seeing this as of evolution 2.6.1)

with evolution/evolution-exchange 2.4.1, filters that I have set up no longer
work on my exchange inbox (filtering from exchange inbox to separate IMAP folder
heirarchy).

When I get a new email in my exchange account, it stays in the exchange inbox.
If i go to the exchange inbox and do 'select all', 'apply filters', I get the
following error message pop-up:

-------------------------------------------
Error while Filtering Folder.

No provider available for protocol `email'
-------------------------------------------

Steps to reproduce:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

This is not exchange connector specific issue.

One work-around to fix this is, open the filters settings
dialog and reset the destination folders for the
filter rules that are failing.

I think this is a duplicate, but I am not finding the
bug. So moving it to mailer by changing the summary.

see bug 343637 comment 1 for a workaround
