Description René Brandenburger 2006-05-31 13:26:45 UTC
It would be nice to use Drag&Drop to import / export contact entries
Comment 1 André Klapper 2006-05-31 16:06:03 UTC
to where? this i too vague, please elaborate a bit.
Comment 2 René Brandenburger 2006-06-06 10:27:27 UTC
selecting a cvard file on the desktop or in a folder and dropping it into an addressbook should do the job, so I don't have to go through the File-Import stuff.
Dropping an entry on the desktop or folder should create a vcard file of the entry.

Still present in 2.30.
Comment 6 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:09:36 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
