I would love to have reverberation/environmental effects available to me in amarok. (great hall, sewer, underwater, etc)

Effects like these might be available via the GStreamer ladspa wrapper in -good.

Agree here, we have some simple fx in audiofx plugin (part of plugins good). Unless you'd like to add a reverb/hall plugin there I'd like to close this and would recommend using ladspa/lv2 plugins instead.
