Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-05-28 10:50:29 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/45338

"In evolution, when I add a contact for a person I received email from by right clicking on their address and selecting "Add to Address Book" the address is properly added to my contacts, but the address will not appear in the auto-completion done by Evolution until the address has been further edited.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Receive an email from someone who isn't in your address book.
2. Right click on their address, select "Add to Address Book"
3. Save the contact.
4. Create a new email, and start to type the newly created contact's name/email address, and watch while nothing happens.

If you go to the contacts section and edit the contact, the autocompletion will start to work."

Are you sure that's a duplicate? Restarting evolution doesn't change the behaviour of that one, you need to edit the contact
