GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 342922
weired volume behaviour
Last modified: 2006-06-04 18:26:33 UTC
I have a problem with nautilus. Here is my fstab file: /dev/sda5 ext3 noatime,errors=remount-ro,user_xattr /dev/sda8 /mnt/.data ext3 noatime,user_xattr /mnt/.data/Music /mnt/Music none bind /mnt/.data/Docs /mnt/Documents none bind /mnt/.data/Photos /mnt/Photos none bind /mnt/.data/Images /mnt/Images none bind /dev/sda7 /home ext3 noatime,user_xattr On the desktop nautilus for some reason shows the volume /dev/sda8, but not /dev/sda7. On the computer view (screenshot attached) there are some volumes repeated: I have two icons, one that whose label says Filesystem (which is supposed to be the root /, filesystem), then I also see a volume called "/". There are also some partitions which are not listed in fstab because i don't want them mounted, these two partitions appear in computer, when i click on the properties of them nautilus crashes (i will file a bug about this with a proper backtrace).
Created attachment 66191 [details] screenshot that shows to volumes for the same thing "/" and the Filesystem
