Description Santanu Chatterjee 2006-05-25 08:39:37 UTC
Do the following and you will see what I mean :
Open a gnome-terminal and place it at the lower left-hand
corner of the screen. Now use Ctrl+Shift+t to open a new tab,
and then close that tab. Repeat this a few times and you
will see how the terminal keeps growing upwards. Quite
  annoying.

I expect the terminal size (100x25 in my case) to stay
the same regardless of how I open or close the tabs.

Regards,
Santanu

Other information:
I am using Ubuntu (Dapper Drake), on Intel Pentium 4, with 512MB RAM.
