GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 342521
No 'Properties' command in context menu of main menu entries
Last modified: 2007-01-15 22:54:11 UTC
The context menu obtained on a main menu entry contains the following items: - Add this launcher to panel - Add this launcher to desktop - Entire menu - Add this as drawer to panel - Add this as menu to panel There is no Properties command that would allow one to see exactly which executable (with which options) would be started if the menu entry was selected. I seem to remember that there used to be a Properties command before I upgraded from Fedora Core 3 to 5.
I've seen a patch that brings 'Properties' (back) to the context menu, but I can't remember where I have taken it, maybe in one of GNOME mailing lists. Sorry, don't remember the author either.

We'd want to do this with PanelDItemEditor and make it possible to edit the entries. Also, there's an old bug about this. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 162177 ***
