GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 342407
"Resize" mouse pointer does not follow the column separator (that vertical line) when resizing library colums and resizing works strange.
Last modified: 2006-05-20 13:20:25 UTC
Please describe the problem: 1. When we grab a column for resizing, we expect that the mouse pointer will follow the column separator. But in Rythmbox the column seperator flees away from under the mouse pointer. When resizing, pointer is in different place than the separator. Only Name column works OK. 2. All column sizes are calculated automatically when resizing one. But this is a fuzzy process. I can't resize Genre to be small. It stops resizing when it's to big for me. But when i resize Artist by moving it to the right, Genre is resized automatically and becomes smaller, than resizing genre itself.. Also the Artist column resizes to both directions - left and right. And does this not at the same speed, as i'm moving my mouse. Sudden increases and decreases occurs. Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to Library; 2. Try to grab and resize various columns, especially in the right side (Artist, Album, Time) Name column works ok. Actual results: Mouse pointer does not follow the column separator and the columns resizes bit messy. Expected results: The column separator should follow the mouse. Column separator should move at the speed, i'm moving it, not faster than my mouse. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information:
Ubuntu Dapper 6.06, Rythmbox 0.9.3.1
