Severity: Normal

Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: Evolution ignores proxy settings in Gnome
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution

Description:
Description of Problem:
Using an exchange server accessed via a proxy server fails. If proxy
server is bypassed in the firewall for my IP (I'm the Admin) then it all
works. Otherwise it complains that it cannot find the server. I have
configured the "Network Proxy" settings in Gnome and also defined
http_proxy and https_proxy in the profile without effect.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Use Evolution(-exchange) behind a proxy server.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Error message: Could not authenticate server.

Expected Results:
Connection to Exchange server

How often does this happen?
Every time that proxy is enforced.
