Description David 2006-05-16 11:13:31 UTC
I prefer to open te accounts in a new window which does work fine. The problem
is they always default to an unusable (IMHO) size. I pprefer to work in them
maximized, so I always have to maximize them after opening. There should be a
setting to remember the new window size.

I would rate the severity of this bug normal and not minor. I have a screen big enough to display multiple registers and have each be wide enough to show everything without a horizontal scroll bar. But I have to readjust each window when it pops up, which is annoying.
Comment 2 jlquinn 2006-07-12 11:32:19 UTC
This issue is still present in 2.0.0
Comment 3 Andreas Köhler 2007-02-11 23:33:52 UTC
Fixed in r15569.
Log:
"""New main windows appear very small, so set their size to the one of the currently active window. If that is in a maximized state, maximize the new windows too. However, do not try to position them."""

Marked for backport to 2.0, let us see whether it will be accepted. If it is, the change will be included in 2.0.5.
Comment 4 Derek Atkins 2007-02-18 05:26:15 UTC
Merged into 2.0 as r15596.
Will be in 2.0.5
