GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 341938
Rhythmbox can't handle some localized date and time formats
Last modified: 2006-05-17 02:43:36 UTC
Rhythmbox has copied some code from eel (eel_strdup_strftime) some while ago, which it needs to update in order to support some of the standard strftime format strings that eel previously didn't support but now supports (like "%OH": see man 3 strftime). If the code is note updated, certain locales like Persian (fa_IR) cannot show the proper date and time for the last playing time in the properties box. The bug still exists in HEAD. Will attach a patch. FarsiWeb's internal reference: farsiweb #108, rhythmbox-persian-calendar.patch, reported by Elnaz Sarbar, patch by Roozbeh Pournader
Created attachment 65571 [details] [review] Patch against head, copying from eel's HEAD, also adding copyright info from eel
Comment #0 suggests bug is in HEAD, changing version accordingly.
Committed to cvs, thanks.
