Description Wolf Halton 2006-05-10 17:44:23 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I get various errors with this content when I send/receive or attempt to expunge
a folder

Steps to reproduce:
1. Import (by hand) several mail folders from thunderbird (which was crashing
every time I accessed 3 of the 10 email accounts I monitor).
2. send an email
2. expunge a folder
2. attempt to save a folder
3. close the error dialog and get on with life.

Actual results:
The error msg appears and I am not sure if the folder is saved properly or saved
properly.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
yes

Hi Wolf,

if you get an error popup like:
"Error while Expunging folder. Error storing `~/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox (mbox)': Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync.", quit evolution, remove the file with the file with the ending ".ev-summary", in this example you should remove the file "~/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox.ev-summary", and restart evolution.

Please add a comment if that helps.
Also, please feel free to report any further bugs you find. Thanks in advance.
