I can't seem to find a duplicate word on translation files. Additionally, I'm using evince 0.5.2 (and gtk+2.8.13) and I don't have a duplicate "ficheiro" on the menu bar. Could you please specify the versions of evince and gtk+ that you have? Could you please additionaly provide the distribution you use and, if applicable, the file/package name and version/release/revision of both the evince and gtk+ products? I have seen before issues with translations on Ubuntu due to the way that distribution handles translation work... Thank you for using the Portuguese translation and for your bug report
Closing as invalid, since it's not "reproducible". It probably was either a distribution specific issue or a bug on my translations that showed "Context|String" on strings to translate with context, but that was fixed prior to report.
