Please describe the problem:
At boot on a toshiba satellite laptop, gparted livecd hangs at detecting adaptec
I2O raid controllers. After hang, it appears that the only way out of the hang
is to power down.
the same livecd performs correctly during boot on a generic desktop.

Steps to reproduce:
1. put cd in toshiba satellite laptop
2. boot on cd
3. wait for it to hang


Actual results:
livecd hangs at "detecting adaptec I2O raid controllers"

Expected results:


Does this happen every time?

I believe I have it fixed. Try it again when the next release comes out.

It's been a few weeks with no response. I'm 99% sure it's fixed.
