GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 338770
Unclear strings in the PO file
Last modified: 2007-09-05 16:39:00 UTC
dasher bugs 1. po:14 reference: ⑤ ../Src/Gtk2/dasher.glade.h:1 ../Src/Gtk2/dashermaemo.glade.h:3 Original: ⌘0 (Message Placeholder - no need to translate) If this is a comment to us, please put it in the translator comment field. Otherwise, it's confusing, as it's not the correct procedure. Quite often, the string could be talking to us, or to the user, so we keep comments for translators elsehere, so we can't get mixed up. 2. po:52 reference: ⑤ ../Src/Gtk2/dasher.glade.h:39 ../Src/Gtk2/dashermaemo.glade.h:41 Original: ⌘0 Centre circle\n Two box The meaning and purpose of this string is extremely unclear. Please supply a context comment, as above. Otherwise, we can only guess, and you will get quite a few inaccurate, if not wildly improbable translations. 3. .po:173 reference: ⑤ ../Src/Gtk2/dashermaemo.glade.h:71 Original: ⌘0 P I have no idea what this means. Again, please explain. How am I to know how to translate this? from Clytie, Vietnamese translator
