Description Amnon Aaronsohn 2006-04-13 14:18:51 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I open a menu on the panel (e.g. Applications, Places or System in
ubuntu), the last panel item (e.g. applet or launcher icon) that I previously
clicked is highlighted. and there appears a dotted box around the item. This is
a purely cosmetical bug since the menu is opened OK.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on a launcher icon, or right click an applet and choose "about".
1. Click on a menu in the panel or press the keyboard shortcut for it

Actual results:
The menu opens, but the icon you clicked before it is highlighted. When the menu
is closed the icon is restored to its original look.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
