Description François Tissandier 2006-04-06 21:19:02 UTC
There is a project for "# Genre, artist, album sorting similar to iTunes/Rhythmbox
". I think it would be also very instinctive to click on the column content to
filter. Like you click on the artist name to show only his songs. You click on
the album title to show only this title, on the year to display only the year.
Of course, it's not very coherent with my other feature proposal (easy way to
rate songs, by clicking on the stars in the rating column). No solution yet
though : )

Moving to the User Interface component.

What do you mean "There is a project for..."? I don't understand what you're saying. The click to filter idea is a duplicate of bug #333904, though it suggest that it be in the context menu, not just click to filter.

If the first part of your bug is suggesting a better way to sort tracks, that is a duplicate of bug #314149.

If you feel that your bug report is not a duplicate of these bugs, feel free to reopen this bug and explain why.

Any way, thanks for your bug report. In the future, please file only one issue per report. Closing this bug as a duplicate.
