Description Lukas 2006-04-06 00:21:32 UTC
Please describe the problem:
decompose an image into HSV
compose the same(or other) image form HSV
compose.exe plugin crashes

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start gimp
2. open some rgb image
3. decompose image into HSV
4. compose the decomposed image back into HSV: compose.exe plugin crashes as
soon as color model is changed from RGB into HSV (before hitting OK)

A curious workaround:

4.compose first to LAB (which gives a strange looking image)
5.close (or don't close)this image
6. now compose again: change LAB color model into HSV and everything goes fine

The workaround seems to work after LAB but also CMY, CMYK and all YCbCr. Plugin
crashes only after changing color model choice from RGB or RGBA into HSV

Actual results:
compose.exe plugin crashes. Rest of program keeps functioning well even after
several compose-plugin crashes.

Expected results:
Changing the item from RGB into HSV should be no problem

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Using Windows XP
Gimp 2.3.7, Language Dutch.
GTK+ 2.8.9
