Description Laurent de Trogoff 2006-04-04 15:54:48 UTC
Please describe the problem:
so, i tried to run gparted-0.2.3.
When i umount /dev/sda9 , gparted refresh its window and i see that sda9 is
umounted.
BUT, if i type 'mount' in shell i get this :
/dev/sda9 on /media/disk-4 type ext3 (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev)
-> so sda9 is still mounted !!!

If i type 'umount -v /media/disk-1' (where dsik-1 is where gnome mounted sda9),
i get :
/dev/sda9 umounted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steps to reproduce:
1. umount within a shell but not from gparted :(
2.
3.

Actual results:
it works :-p

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
yep

this one is actually caused by the automounter which kicks in after the rescan of gparted. marking this a dup of #324220
