GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 336443
Allow arbitrary time zones.
Last modified: 2006-04-01 18:44:10 UTC
I work with clients in other time zones. It would be useful to allow secondary instances of the clock applet to display other time zones, so that, for instance, my main clock (in the notification area) shows the local time, but another clock applet in a different place could be configured to display, for instance, the time in GMT. Nonlocal times would display with their timezone abbreviation to avoid confusion.
