GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 336440
Store channel colors when saving as PSD
Last modified: 2018-05-24 11:48:01 UTC
Please describe the problem: When converting a multi channeled image to a photoshop document the channel colors are lost when the PSD is reopened. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create an image with 2 channels each of different colors (not black). 2. Save the image as a photoshop document. 3. Close the image and then reopen the photoshop document in GIMP. The channels will all be black. Actual results: When the PSD image is reopened the channels are black. Expected results: When the PSD image is reopened the channels should be the colors they were saved as. Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
If you could point us to the documentation that tells us how to do this, or even better yet, send a patch for the PSD save plug-in, that would be very much appreciated.
