Description Claus Schwarm 2006-03-28 09:55:22 UTC
A new section on www.gnome.org should introduce material relevant to third-party developers and potential GNOME contributors. It should introduce live.gnome.org, and library.gnome.org.

Comment 2 Thomas Wood 2006-05-17 20:16:16 UTC
This looks fine to me, but where should it be linked from? Also, it seems to be duplicating a lot of material from other places. Should we try and consolidate this material (i.e. remove it from the other places)?
Comment 3 Claus Schwarm 2006-05-18 13:06:17 UTC
The "patch" is supposed to go under "wwww.gnome.org/development". The top navigation link "Developers" will be renamed "Development" and it will point to it.

Concerning duplicated material: If it's from developer.gnome.org, we'll ignore that. One day, developer.gnome.org will go offline, anyway. There's no need to waste time cleaning it up. It the duplicated material is from elsewhere on the GNOME pages, please tell me.

In generel, duplicating material on several pages is OK, as long as it's a "reminder": For example, "Join GNOME!" can be used on several pages but there should be just one explanation on how to join GNOME
