Description Rob 2006-03-25 16:35:09 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open up a Terminal Window
2. Type "totem" and Return
3.

Stack trace:
bash-3.1$ totem

** (totem:2079): WARNING **: Failed to connect to the session bus: Unable to
determine the address of the message bus
The program 'totem' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 108 error_code 11 request_code 141 minor_code 19)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
bash-3.1$

This means that your system doesn't have enough video RAM to use Xv. This usually happens when the video you're trying to watch is very big, or you're using a buggy video driver (NVidia card?)

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
