Description Philip Langdale 2006-03-23 16:52:58 UTC
Having just upgraded to pango 1.12 on both an Ubuntu Dapper and a Slackware system, I've observed that DejaVu Sans is rendered differently in that letters next to a T are packed closer than with Pango 1.10. This is particularly noticeable with 'Tu' and 'Te'. Interestingly, Bitstream Vera Sans has the opposite problem - the 'u' or 'e' is moved away from the 'T'. With 1.10, it's in exactly the same place as with DejaVu Sans.

I suppose this might be intentional, but it definitely looks worse than before in both cases.
