Last modified: 2009-03-05 12:41:47 UTC
1.Launch evolution and go to tasks view. 2.Create some tasks. 3.Delete the last task you create. 4.Click on another task -> Press "Shift" -> Click another task.
Can't reproduce it here... Can you get a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.

I think this has been solved in Evolution 2.11.6, depending on bug #457394. Could anybody try to reproduce this on actual version, please?

I haven't seen any bugs after Milan's fix. Also Milan's patch was a proper fix. I expect that it is fixed. So closing the bug. Reopen if this is seen gain on 2.12.x or later.

bug 543579 could be a dup in 2.22.x
bug 544187 looks duplicate with good traces so reopening the bug
there is a similar crash on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/251326 "Binary package hint: evolution I added a task with a due date. When I clicked OK on the pop-up date selector, it froze. It used 100% CPU for about 20 seconds, and then crashed. I did try clicking the "mail" icon once. The task list was sorted by % complete."
The new crah is related to my patch for bug #532597, without them it works fine. My steps are: a) have some items with "% Completed" filled zero and one with say 100%. b) have 10 items, sorted by "% Complete" c) select second item, double click it, make some change other than in the sorting column and save. d) item came as the last in the list of consecutive 0% completed values e) double click on it one more time (on its new position) and try save change
Moving this issue to bug #544187 and closing this, unless you've some crasher with same stacktrace before 2.22.
I think bug 552330 has same stack trace.
