Description Johnny Proton 2006-03-23 06:03:18 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Once my battery is charged up completely, it keeps notifying me again and again
that the battery is fully charged. It's driving me nuts.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Fedora Core 5 on Compaq Presario v2200
2. Charge battery and watch battery status notification pop up again, and again
3. Bash head into keyboard

Actual results:
Head hurts.

Expected results:
The notification is a little hyper sensitive to the status of the battery. I
think this Compaq seems to drain a teeny bit from the battery even when it's
plugged in as it does intensive work, or the battery status is just read
incorrectly.

Does this happen every time?
There it goes again. Just saw it again. And again.

Other information:
It would be nice if I could turn off these silly notifications in some kind of
preference.

Are you still seeing this with 2.14.1?
