Description David Schroeder 2006-03-23 01:02:36 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Songs with strange characters (question mark, ampersand) in the filename cause
rhythmbox problems. Sometimes the songs will not be added to the playlist, and
other times they will cause rhythmbox to crash when viewing the playlist.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get a file with a strange character somewhere in the path (? and & confirmed
to cause problems)
2. Allow rhythmbox to import it into the library
3. Try to add it to a playlist
4. Watch the fireworks

Actual results:
Rhythmbox will either not add the song to the playlist, or will crash upong
trying to view the playlist.

Expected results:
The song to be correctly added.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
No.

This *should* be fixed in CVS. Please re-open if you can reproduce it in CVS HEAD.
