Description Giacomo Perale 2006-03-19 23:33:14 UTC
Please describe the problem:
nautilus 2.14 recognize eps images (encapsulated postscript) as text/plain
documents, so it opens them with gedit and it is not possible to choose the
correct application (evince) because the new default applies to every text/plain
document

also, when opening a directory with some eps files, initially they're displayed
with the "image" icon, and when the user select one of them, the icon became a
text document icon. when the user close and reopen the directory, all files have
the "image" icon again

Steps to reproduce:
1. select an eps file with nautilus
2. double click the file to open it

Actual results:
nautilus opens the file with gedit

Expected results:
nautilus should open the file with evince

Does this happen every time?
yes
