Description David Prieto 2006-03-17 15:16:41 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In order to transfer files between my two computers I have to copy them from the
first PC to a CD, then to the secon CD. When I do that, it turns out everything
I copy is write-protected.

This behavior really annoys me, specially when I copy stuff with lots of folders
or subfolders, since permissions are not applied recursively by default. It's
somehow logical not to be able to write files on a non-writable media, but most
times these files come FROM writable media and are bound to go TO writable media.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Does this happen every time?
