Description Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy 2006-03-16 15:48:43 UTC
I usually set gnome-screensaver timeout to 3 minutes or so. Therefore, soon after typing break stops, gnome screensaver is activated. I think typing break feature should make gnome-screensaver don't count the moment typing break is activated.
Comment 1 Christian Persch 2006-03-17 20:08:34 UTC
Shouldn't this be moved to "gnome-screensaver" component instead, then?
Comment 2 Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy 2006-03-18 02:32:07 UTC
typing break stuff still has to do something to notify gnome-screensaver. IIRC totem can tell gnome-screensaver not to activate when it's playing film.
Comment 3 Richard Hult 2007-03-23 17:35:23 UTC
This doesn't make sense to me really. If you don't want the typing break paus to trigger the screensaver, set the screensaver timeout higher. If you leave the computer during a break, you don't want the screensaver to lock the screen after a longer period than normally.
Comment 4 Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy 2007-03-26 13:34:32 UTC
Alright, I think that makes sense.
