Open the search dialog.  Search for 3.14 in character details.  It finds U+03C0, now press Next button again, it searches again and finds the same character.  Prev does nothing.

Now search for the string "pi" instead, it finds U+03D2 and if you hit next, it will find U+03D3.  Now if you click Next again, it does nothing.  This is Inconsistent with the previous scenario that it searches again from the beginning (hopelessly.)

In both cases, upon finding the last occurence (or whenever we the next matching fails), the next button should become unsensitive.  Same about Prev...


Why is a search for "pi" finding those two characters and not 03C0 is another bug...  Seems like the search functionality can use a complete rewrite, using a more advanced search system like Beagle for example...
